    Sawhorse Productions brings the First User-Generated Avatar Clothing to Rec Room! Get ready for a new era of digital fashion! We introduced our own Sawhorse-branded avatar items yesterday, available in Rec Room. These Sawhorse goodies are the first ever (!!!) user-generated clothing for Rec Room. So, what’s in this drop? The Rec Room community told us that they really wanted more choice over their style. This is a big deal for us and demonstrates that there is a world of opportunity for creators and brands in avatar UGC. More Opportunity for Brands and Creators with Avatar Items We know there is a lot of potential for creators and brands with UGC digital fashion. We’ve seen this come to life in Roblox, for example, with experiences we’ve created like Alo Yoga and Fenty Beauty. It’s an accessible entry point for brands – especially those in fashion, beauty, and tech – to engage with new audiences. And the creation of avatar items gives even more talented UGC creators the chance to get into the game.     This is why we were so excited when Rec Room came to us to collaborate on the first UGC avatar items. We’ve seen the great work Rec Room is doing to evolve its avatars with full-body and to build out its developer tools to make it easier to create on their platform. So, we were excited to preview these tools to see what kind of magic we could make for the community and learn along the way.   We started by going deep (as we always do). Sawhorse is known for immersing ourselves in communities to really get to know how the platforms work and what their users value. Most importantly, we work with UGC artists who are deeply connected in these worlds.     Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice... on Roblox! That's right… Sawhorse Productions partnered with Warner Bros. Entertainment, Fandango and Roblox to develop a spooky, fun and totally new Roblox activation to promote the new Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice movie starring the ghost with the most! 👻 Warner Bros. came to Sawhorse to create an experience that would expand its audiences, increase content viewership and drive ticket sales. Together, we created Beetlejuice Escape the Afterlife to unite superfans like us and introduce new audiences to the world of Beetlejuice. The experience brings the movie to life in a unique, immersive and interactive way. Our team at Sawhorse set out to deliver an experience worthy of the Beetlejuice franchise that the Roblox community would love. We're excited and we know fans will sprint to the Afterlife and here's why: 🎮 Gamification: We know the Roblox community loves horror-based, escape games. So, our experience builds on this trend, allowing fans to enter one of three immersive worlds, where they need to escape ghouls and rescue beloved characters like Delia and Lydia, and new characters like Astrid. Most importantly... it's FUN. 📢 Interoperable On-Platform Marking: Roblox users jump between experiences often. So, we partnered with four of the top Roblox community-created experiences: Barry’s Prison Run, Carry a Friend!, Escape a Running Head, and The Floor is Lava to help amplify the campaign and drive traffic to this new experience. When a player meets their demise in one of the partner experiences and chooses to spawn in the Afterlife, they’ll interact with Beetlejuice, watch the trailer and obtain unique virtual items. From there, they can discover the Beetlejuice experience and immerse themselves further into the game. 🎟 Virtual Fandango Box Office: Through our work with many incredible, innovative brands like Warner Bros., we know that there are so many untapped opportunities to engage the Roblox community, e-commerce integration being one of them. So, for the first time in Roblox history, eligible users can purchase movie tickets inside Beetlejuice Escape the Afterlife through a Fandango box office embedded in the experience.
