Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Credit Manager, the incumbent is responsible for processing guest’s application for a credit line. Must possess excellent computer knowledge, good communication skills as well as good phone etiquette. Develops relationships and has direct contact with patrons.

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Safeguard Credit Department assets.
  • Enter data from credit applications and reports into the computerized system.
  • File credit applications.
  • Verify bank information on credit applications.
  • Maintain customer credit files with updated information as prompted by computerized system.
  • Communicate with Central Credit and other properties regarding credit applications.
  • Handle customer correspondence regarding discrepancies on credit applications.
  • Accept telephone applications, processes information and forwards applications to individuals authorized to approve credit.
  • Process credit information for arrivals and special group events.
  • Review Central Credit Daily Report for affected in-house accounts.
  • Enter appropriate credit information. (i.e. restrictions) into computerized system.
  • Perform credit reference inquiries.
  • Process credit applications and ensures the proper completion of all related documents.
  • Promote positive public relations.
  • Amicably resolve customer related problems in a fast paced environment.
  • Ensure the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.
  • Comply with all departmental and Golden Nugget policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and employees as appropriate.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department and company records.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
