Primary Purpose
AHF Products has a great career opportunity for a Credit Manager at our headquarters in Mountville, Pa. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for leading in the delivery of a well – controlled credit, collections, claims & adjustments, and billing function. This role is directly accountable for an accounts receivable investment in excess of $70M’s and will lead activities in developing, maintaining and interpreting AR Department actions, policies and procedures within the Company’s standards. Expectations of the role include delivering a low cost/well controlled operation that promotes profitable sales, achieves favorable AR turnover, applies a sound risk management approach, and builds strong customer and business partner relations. Primary focus is for the improved performance in % current, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), reduction of the amount of non-standards created, improving the percentage of disputed items collected, and prevention of bad debt expense. This role will report to the Sr Credit and AR Manager.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Responsible for overseeing company’s new customer account and credit granting process
Lead team for reviewing all new credit applications, credit investigation, establishing credit lines, and set up of accounts in ERP system including all aspects of new account set up
Responsible for setting objectives for the Credit team that align with company’s goals
Driving results for cashflow through diligent credit investigation of our customers
Assist department in improving working capital, improving our AR portfolio % current and DSO, while minimizing bad debt
Ensure that common accounts between brands have adequate credit line distribution and each brand works within established limits
Make recommendation to department head for accounts that are over credit authority
Lead team to create any online portal access for customers to pay online
Conduct routine credit reviews as policy
Ensure reporting is being sent monthly to all credit reporting agencies as subscribed
Responsible for tracking job information, securing as appropriate via pre-lien notifications, lien filing, bond filing and adjacent release upon payment
Preparing any joint check agreements, cross corporate guarantees, personal guarantees, or various other securities
Obtain any certificate of insurances as required
Complete vendor packets as applicable
Complete any vendor portal set up
Maintain credit application updates as approved by Department Head
Vet credit insurance for new accounts
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge of the commercial credit function

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills in order build and maintain client and business relationships
Discretion and strong dedication to confidentiality to protect the financial privacy of AHF, customers, and business partners
Evidence of implementing process improvements and technology solutions
Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal
Proven proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong ability to multi-task and ability to handle multiple priorities
Qualifications
Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience in credit, finance or equivalent roles
Familiarity with domestic credit procedures
Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
Positive and Verifiable Work History

Experience with M3
Previous supervisory experience
Familiarity with export credit procedures
