We seek focused and dedicated individuals devoted to providing advanced engineering solutions.Position OverviewEngineers will be responsible for all aspects of design, development, and project management of various types of facade structural systems, a variety of specialty component structures, and a knowledge and understanding of the design of “Components and Cladding” structures as defined by the International Building Code.Position Description SummaryAs a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of the subject matter of the functional area of the assignments, plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Devises new approaches to problems and requires sufficient professional experience to assure competence as a fully trained worker. Completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree may be substituted for experience.Responsibilities and DutiesSpecific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a significant project or a total project of moderate scopePerforms work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of sophisticated features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of traditional materials, and difficult coordination requirementsThe job requires a broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a good knowledge of and practices of related specialties.Must demonstrate the ability to learn industry standards, maintain a high productivity level, and work with other team members.Always understand that the CLIENT IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY.Performs any other duties as may be required, from time to time, by ManagementConsistently displays a sense of urgency for all tasks and deadlinesQualifications and SkillsBachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum, or equivalent, plus appropriate continuing education.The position is fully remote but must reside in one of the following areas: Dallas, Austin, Kansas City, SW Missouri, NW Arkansas.Able to work across organizational lines to achieve resultsAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining attention to detailImpeccable organizational skillsMust possess a high level of personal integrityStrong analytical skills and ability to implement continuous process improvementDemonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Word processing, Spreadsheets, Engineering software, Internet, and E-mail applications.Ability to handle pressure and stress while maintaining a high level of performance and productivity
