Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing and design franchise, is seeking candidates for a position with our Fort Worth location as a Bindery Specialist. This is a fun position responsible for a variety of activities involved in finishing print projects. As a Bindery Specialist at Minuteman Press, you will play an essential role in the final stages of our production process. You will be responsible for operating bindery equipment, performing various finishing tasks, ensuring that all printed materials meet the highest quality standards, and packaging jobs in a manner to highlight their quality. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, a strong commitment to producing top-quality products, and a high tolerance for repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, trimmers, booklet makers, envelope stuffers, and others.
Perform finishing tasks including folding, stitching, binding, coating, laminating, and trimming of printed materials, as well printing envelopes, stuffing envelopes, and addressing mailers.
Inspect printed products for quality and accuracy, ensuring all finished products meet customer specifications.
Package finished products for shipment or delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation and attractive presentation.
Coordinate with sales and customer service team members to prioritize orders and allocate resources accordingly.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of bindery equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Manage inventory levels of bindery supplies and materials to support production activities and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Monitor production metrics and KPIs to track bindery performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Follow the shop cleaning schedule and complete assignments to contribute to overall cleanliness of the shop.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years’ previous experience in a bindery or print shop environment - REQUIRED.
Familiarity with bindery equipment and finishing processes - REQUIRED.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
