The Customer Service/Warranty Manager at Sea Fox Boat Company is responsible for management of all on-site warranty projects, communication of claims across all departments, and maintaining the Sea Fox standard. It is expected that the Warranty Manager will complete the work on time and to the Sea Fox standard while maintaining productivity and customer/dealer satisfaction. It is crucial that the Warranty Manager communicates priority information to production, engineering, and other departments to ensure our product is top quality and each individual customer is satisfied.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Communicate directly with dealers and owners by phone, email, etc. to answer questions, order parts, and coordinate the process of boat warranties, maintenance, and repairs in a timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction
Determine warranty status and best method of repair; coordinates bringing boats in if necessary
Update engineering and production on recurring issues, component problems, and common infield and QC problems
Coordinate shipping of warranty boats on site
Management of warranty boats on site

Work with production to correct quality concerns prior to ship date
Maintain the check-in and check-out process for all warranty projects
Complete RGA for warranty parts credits in assistance to the Customer Service Representative
Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms
Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment
Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages
Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Receives and handles requests from customers and distributors for price quotes, purchase orders, order adjustments, and order cancellations
Uses computer database to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status
Drafts purchase orders and invoices to submit to the accounting department
Participate and lead weekly meetings with production employees to close the gap
Maintains files of active orders and updates with changes to customer accounts or orders
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
