As the organization grows, so too does their security team. Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure against emerging cyber threats. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity measures that protect our sensitive data, intellectual property, and operational technology systems. You will conduct regular assessments of our network and systems to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, you will establish and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will lead incident response efforts, investigating and resolving security breaches promptly to minimize impact and prevent future occurrences. Your expertise in cybersecurity tools and technologies will be instrumental in enhancing our resilience against cyber attacks and maintaining the trust of our customers and partners.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and associated cybersecurity challenges.
Have hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically will enable you to assess risks comprehensively and develop proactive solutions.
Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively communicating cybersecurity concepts and best practices across the organization, as well as for collaborating with external stakeholders such as vendors and regulatory bodies.
A proactive approach to staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats will ensure that our company remains ahead of potential risks, enabling us to maintain a secure and resilient digital environment for our manufacturing operations.
