Data and Reporting Analyst
Description
Well-respected Financial Services Company seeks a Data and Reporting Analyst to maintain and enhance their reporting on a consolidated basis. This Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing and developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that will provide key insights to departmental functions. Other responsibilities include: managing the development of performance reports, asset allocation, providing complex data analysis, integrating data, identifying data trends and patterns, and solving data discrepancies. The ideal Data and Reporting Analyst should have strong knowledge of investment concepts, proficiency utilizing data visualization tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal Data and Reporting Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Mathematics.

Responsibilities
- Gather data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems
- Analyze complex data sets that inform business decisions
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis
- Develop insights into operational efficiencies
- Generate ad hoc report requests
- Create compelling data visualizations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
The ideal Data and Reporting Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Mathematics.
Other requirements for the Data and Reporting Analyst role include and are not limited to:
- 1-2 years of experience in asset allocation or investment management
- MUST have advanced Excel
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
