Job Title: DC Plan Administrator

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DC Plan Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and compliance of defined contribution retirement plans for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retirement plan administration, a thorough understanding of DC plan regulations, and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer day-to-day operations of defined contribution retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), and profit-sharing plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of plan contributions, distributions, loans, and withdrawals.
  • Conduct annual compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, top-heavy, and 402(g) limits.
  • Prepare and review annual IRS Form 5500 filings and ensure compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations.
  • Calculate employer contributions, vesting, and matching contributions according to plan documents and participant elections.
  • Maintain plan records and participant data accurately in the retirement plan administration system.
  • Communicate with plan participants to provide information, answer inquiries, and assist with retirement planning.
  • Stay informed about changes in retirement plan legislation and industry trends to advise clients and ensure plan compliance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), or similar certifications (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retirement plan administration, with specific experience in defined contribution plans.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations governing retirement plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
