Our dental office partner, Rocky Mountain Smiles, is seeking an exceptional Dental Hygienist to join its rapidly growing team.Rocky Mountain Smiles provides services from cleanings to implants, including pediatric, family, and cosmetic dental services.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide preventative dental care to patients (e.g., remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth, apply sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth, etc.)
Perform dental radiographic/x-ray procedures
Assess patients’ oral health and report findings to dentists
Document patient care and treatment plans
Educate patients about oral hygiene techniques
Prepare patient treatment rooms
Maintain highest clinical standards for sterilization, cleanliness, and infection control
Maintain compliance with HIPAA/OSHA requirements
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications And Skills
Dental hygienist license (required)
HIPAA/OSHA training
Proficient in use of a CBCT (cone beam CT)
Outstanding chair side communication and customer service
Knowledge and understanding of dental clinical and hygiene standards, state requirements, and regulatory compliance
Schedule
This is a full-time position and offers a four-day work week (Monday-Thursday from 7:00am – 5:00pm), with occasional overtime and Fridays as needed.
Compensation
$45-60/hour
