Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $29.00/hr
Responsibilities

Kforce's client in the financial services industry is looking for a Digital Content Editor, to join their team. The candidate can be 100% remote, or located to go into their offices in, NY, Chicago, Washington DC, or Colorado. The Role:

  • The role will involve editing reports of varying length under deadline pressure and publishing these to proprietary, as well as third-party vendor, online platforms
  • The reports to be edited will primarily be rating action news releases, credit analyses on companies, analytical reports, and market commentaries
  • You will also be responsible for producing charts, infographics, and presentations; These reports present the companies opinion and must adhere to the highest standards of clarity and accuracy

The Team/Business:

  • The Editorial team consists of about 100 staff in offices around the world and is part of our Operations division
  • You will work closely with other editors and digital content producers, rating analysts, and operations specialists across all sectors to transform complex research, data, and analytical concepts into compelling published articles with a strong visual focus; This is a very exciting, diverse, and challenging environment

Responsibilities

  • Edit and publish reports that are accurate and clear on tight deadlines
  • Support analysts and research authors in writing thought leadership
  • Maintain knowledge of the in-house style guide and article formats to create articles that conform to Company publishing standards
  • Be able to problem solve and help ensure the team operates efficiently
  • Create graphics using standard graphics software tools (Excel, Visio) to branding specifications
  • Support editorial team with other design and editing tasks as needed
  • Manage high volume of work and multitask
  • Work semi-autonomously, with oversight by manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Journalism, English, or a related discipline
  • Requires 2-5 years of relevant, proven hands-on experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
  • Ability to work well on a global team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Preferable: Interest in financial markets desirable
  • Preferable: Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
