Position Overview

Vella Bioscience is looking for an experienced Digital & Growth Marketing Manager to join our lean team. This person has dynamic experience in e-commerce & digital marketing driving impressive + data-driven results.

 

The Digital & Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing paid media campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue growth. The position is also responsible for developing data-driven growth marketing strategies across various channels, including email, to optimize user acquisition.


The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and creativity, and is someone who stays up-to-date on the quickly changing landscape of paid media opportunities and trends.


The Digital & Growth Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Brand & Product Marketing, and will report to the CEO.



Responsibilities

Digital Advertising Strategy

  • Oversee all paid media spend, including Google, Reddit, Bing, & Meta. 
  • Work with the Director of Brand Marketing, to develop then implement data-driven digital ad campaigns
  • A unique challenge of the nature of our products is to optimize ads & suggest website edits to avoid or respond to Restricted Ad notifications


Growth Marketing Strategy

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive growth marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition and engagement
  • Utilize data-driven insights and A/B testing to optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI.
  • Continuously test and iterate on creative concepts across multiple paid media platforms.
  • Develop launch strategies for product pipeline.


SEO Management

  • Manage SEO Agency
  • In collaboration with partner agency, monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics to guide content optimizations across various platforms. 
  • Work with Web Developer to keep website at peak performance based on SEO agency technical scans and recommendations for  improvements.


Affiliate Management

  • Manage Affiliate partner agency
  • In collaboration with partner agency, monitor and analyze affiliate performance metrics to optimize campaigns, identify trends, and recommend improvements.


Email

  • Manage, lead, and optimize email strategy through research and reporting.


Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of digital and growth marketing initiatives.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization, and make data-driven recommendations for future strategies.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in growth marketing or digital marketing roles, with a track record of driving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and best practices as related to paid media and email comms 
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels, tools, and platforms, including but not limited to Google Analytics, TripleWhale, Meta, Reddit, Bing, and affiliate marketing platforms.
  • Analytical & creative mindset that values team collaboration.
  • Genuinely curious in understanding cutting edge and speculative future of digital & growth marketing in an evolving technological landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in an agency setting and/or in the health, wellness, or beauty industry is a plus.


Location

This role is open to remote employees in the contiguous United States.

Estimated Salary Range

$105,000-$115,000 depending on experience.

This range represents the low and high end of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
