Job Summary:
Are you ready to lead a passionate team dedicated to making a difference in the community? We have an opening for a Senior Manager of Adult Behavioral Health in our Community Behavioral Health Center. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinically licensed mental health professional with management experience looking to take the next step in their career.
The senior manager manages and oversees adult outpatient service programs and delivery of behavioral health services. We are looking for someone who thrives in leadership roles and is as passionate about mental health as they are compassionate about the clients we serve.
As director you will:
Lead and Inspire: Provide hands-on clinical leadership to guide and support a team of licensed clinicians, case managers, nurses, and other mental health professionals.
Develop Strategic Plans: Develop and implement strategies that enhance program effectiveness and ensure our high standards of care. Oversee services including outpatient mental health, HIV case management, elder services, and substance use treatment.

Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely, and appropriate adult services within the CBHC framework.
Attract, recruit, and onboard clinical talent, and support ongoing professional development and training.
Conduct regular one-on-one and group supervision, and performance reviews of program staff and interns to ensure high standards of care and professional growth.
Monitor and enhance productivity, ensuring timely and accurate clinical documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee Utilization Review functions, maintaining high standards of medically necessary evidence-based client care.
Participate in CBHC and agency-wide leadership functions, contributing to policy development and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in human services, preferably counseling psychology or social work
Either LICSW or LMHC in the state of Massachusetts
Minimum of 5 years of direct clinical experience and at least 2 years supervisory experience
Ability to develop, support, coach and supervise a clinical team, including new graduates, while creating an environment conducive to personal growth and effective teamwork
Demonstrated clinical and administrative leadership that promotes commitment, compassion, empathy, enthusiasm and inclusion
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written skills that inspire both internal and external customers
