The Director, Advanced Analytics will help create an analytics roadmap that will support the strategies of the Indication Strategy Teams. (IST) You will have a deep understanding of how argenx functions, as well as how argenx can deepen Commercials Analytics. You will build close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the community’s effort is aligned with overall strategy as well as manage dependencies with other team’s functions while identifying, building and managing strategic partnerships across the different teams. You will work closely within your community to ensure business value and that user feedback is translated into new developments when necessary. In this role you will be working on strategy and hands on coding and analytics.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with US Indication Strategy Teams (IST) to help develop/support specific strategy’s for MG/CIDP
  • Co-lead the delivery of analytics/product in response to the market landscape and trends.
  • Evolve the analytics methods and capabilities from core dashboard reporting to advanced methods, enabling better decision-making for IST’s and Executive Leadership.
  • Define analytics strategy and establish industry-leading capabilities across areas of business planning, forecasting, analytics, and reporting
  • Lead analytic insights from identifying the patient journey, customer needs, growth opportunities to inform prioritization of investment and maximize portfolio assets
  • Manage all aspects of analytics including predictive analytics, targeting & segmentation, promotional effectiveness, resource optimization, marketing campaign/positioning/message development, and pull through analytics
  • Provide thought leadership on data science artificial intelligence, machine learning methods, algorithms/model development, validation and tools to drive impactful business decisions
  • Partner with commercial insights and field teams to deliver comprehensive insights/strategic recommendations to achieve business objectives
  • Leverage existing technology and explore potential solutions beyond traditional models to drive innovation and efficiency


Skills And Competencies

  • Strategic and collaborative partnership within a matrix organization
  • Solid management and marketing acumen. Ability to identify business opportunities and develop a strategic plan to support new launches
  • Hands-on experience in application of advanced analytics and statistical methods on large and disparate datasets preferably in the context of omnichannel marketing, specifically in statistical analysis, modelling, machine Learning, and artificial intelligence
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with proven ability to develop and effectively present succinct insights, business implications, and action plans
  • Effectively manage multiple external vendor/partner relationships to ensure high quality and insightful deliverables to achieve business objectives within budget and timeline
  • Adaptive and motivated to build and lead while "rolling up their sleeves" to get it done
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time


Education, Experience And Qualifications

  • BA or BS, Advanced Degree Preferred
  • A minimum of seven years of marketing-related analytic experience within the biopharmaceutical industry is required
  • Deep understanding/experience across various pharmaceutical data facets/processes, including data creation and acquisition, management, governance, data quality, integration, visualization and statistical modelling
  • Hands on experience and proficiency with analytical & visualization tools (SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI etc.)
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate and synthesize sophisticated information into clear insights and recommendations
