About the role…

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Brand Education to join our team at ShopMy. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive education programs for our brand partners. The individual in this role will create and manage resource libraries and ensure our brand partners have access to adequate training materials to ensure that our brand partners are well-informed about new product launches, features, and best practices for maximizing their success on our platform.

The compensation for this role will be between $120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Responsibilities…



Resource Creation and Management:

  • Develop a comprehensive library of resources and materials to support brand partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create up-to-date and relevant content based on the ShopMy toolkit and the evolving needs of our brand partners.
  • Work closely with Client Strategy to ensure that brand partners know about and leverage the educational materials available to them.
  • Maintain and update educational resources to reflect new product launches, features, and industry trends.

Education Program Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement educational programs and initiatives for brand partners.
  • Create engaging and informative training materials (including webinars, workshops, manuals, and online courses).
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of education programs based on feedback and evolving needs.

Brand Partner Engagement:

  • Create educational materials to support new brands' ramp up process on ShopMy, with a focus on the 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day milestones on the platform.
  • Conduct webinars and/or regular training sessions, both in-person and virtual, to ensure brand partners are knowledgeable about our platform and offerings.
  • Work closely with Client Strategy team to provide personalized support and guidance to brand partners to help them achieve their unique goals on the platform.

New Product Launches and Feature Updates:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive education plans for new product launches and feature updates.
  • Ensure brand partners are fully informed and prepared to utilize new features and products.
  • Gather feedback from brand partners to inform future product development and enhancements.

Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish and own key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of education programs.
  • Analyze data and feedback to assess the impact of educational initiatives.
  • Report on program outcomes and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Our non negotiables…

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years experience in product education, product marketing, or a similar role, preferably at a high-growth technology company
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful education programs and resources.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and the needs of brand partners.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively, and a keen eye for detail
  • Comfort using learning & enablement technology (Canva, Figma, Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, Loom, PopSQL)
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with brand partners.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to relay our ever-evolving platform improvements in a clear and concise manner to our brand partners.
