About the role:

Drive Wiley’s AI strategic decision-making by understanding AI market developments, competitive offerings, partner profiles, and new business opportunities better than anyone else inside or outside of Wiley, and execute insightful, actionable qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, ensuring that market dynamics are represented in our internal decision-making. To collaborate effectively with the business groups so that we use that market and competitive knowledge to our strategic and tactical advantage to grow the IP Licensing businesses and to identify new, innovative growth opportunities.

How you will make an impact:

  • Lead business development for AI licensing, establishing a sustainable revenue stream for Wiley
  • Develop relationships with partners for ongoing commercial opportunities, liaising with product teams to expand AI business.
  • Provide market insight and understanding to guide strategy in AI and digital licensing.
  • Sign new licensing deals
  • Prospecting for new opportunities
  • Account management of existing licensee relationships
  • Guide product teams for customer driven AI products and services
  • Understanding of tech customers and market

What we look for:

  • Experience in SaaS, Tech, or AI sector
  • 5 years in business development or sales role
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred
  • Experience working a start-up setting preferred
