At ROI, we specialize in healthcare operational excellence empowering IT leaders to streamline operations and enhance productivity while focusing on patient care. Our team of experts provides transformational consulting services for EHR and ERP software solutions as well as backfill and staffing to fill key and critical roles. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven sales representative to join our “Best in KLAS” rated team and help us expand our reach in the market.

Position Overview

As a Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential Customers, understanding their business needs, and presenting our service offerings as the ideal fit. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong Customer relationships, driving sales growth, and contributing to the overall success of our consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential Customers through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, online research, and referrals.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand Customer’s business challenges and requirements. Help ensure Customer’s adherence to contract terms, such as payments, schedules and Customer support guidelines.
  • Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our services to prospective Customers, highlighting key benefits and quality.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals and estimates addressing Customer requirements and providing clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with Customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Marketing and Reference Management: Actively solicit press release, case study, webcast, and reference opportunities at the close of a sales process, and as part of on-going Account Management responsibilities.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and Customer interactions using CRM tools. Provide regular reports and updates to the sales manager. Work collaboratively to seamlessly transfer customer account to delivery services.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare technology consulting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Workday Sales experience
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare systems, business processes, and industry-specific requirements. Familiarity with various EHR and ERP platforms is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with Customers. Experience with Office 365 and Salesforce CRM required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to Customer engagement.
