Main Accountabilities

  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans aligned with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communications channels.
  • Internal and External Communications: Ensure clear, consistent and effective communication to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, social media, events and more.
  • Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that supports marketing and communication objectives, including the creation of engaging and compelling content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media marketing, and search engine optimization.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry. Use this information to refine marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Public Relations: Manage media relations and public relations activities to enhance the organization’s reputation and manage its public image. Serve as Chief Spokesperson for the Americas.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business communications or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Ten or more years of applicable experience working in a corporate marketing and communications department in a mid to large size company.
  • Experience in global or multi-national marketing and communications experience preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, additional Spanish skills preferable
  • Creative mindset and demonstrated strong project management and organizational skills
  • Familiar with digital trends and the current social media landscape
  • Familiar with content management systems
  • Must be self-starter and able to use independent judgment
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects especially in times of crisis.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with outside vendors and associations
