Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance brand reputation in the arts and culture sector.

Client Management

  • Act as the primary contact for arts and culture clients, providing strategic advice and nurturing relationships.

Team Leadership

  • Guide a diverse team of PR professionals, fostering excellence and collaboration.

Event Oversight

  • Plan and execute events to maximize PR opportunities and client engagement.

Creative Campaigns

  • Contribute to innovative PR campaigns that align with client goals.

Media And Press Campaigns

  • Ensure campaigns meet objectives and achieve desired outcomes.

Team Management

  • Oversee PR teams, aligning efforts with strategic goals.

Media Relations

  • Cultivate journalist relationships and lead impactful media outreach.

Content Strategy

  • Create engaging content across platforms to connect with target audiences.

Crisis Management

  • Handle crisis communication to protect client reputations.

Business Development

  • Seek new business opportunities in the arts and culture sector.

Client Onboarding

  • Collaborate with the sales team to integrate new clients smoothly.

Performance Metrics

  • Set and monitor KPIs to evaluate PR campaign success.

Client Reporting

  • Deliver detailed reports on campaign performance and media placements.

Industry Trends

  • Stay updated on trends to position the organization as a leader.

Audience Targeting

  • Use data to effectively engage key audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of PR experience, including 4 years in arts and culture leadership.
  • Proven success in developing and executing PR strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficient in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Established network of media contacts and industry influencers.
  • Business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with sales teams and onboarding clients.
  • Skilled in writing press releases, pitch letters, and media strategies.
  • Track record of successful event planning and management.
