Director, Business Development
The candidate will have a background in Business Development and is willing to provide such services to PRC based on this background.
- PRC is a provider of the following services to its customers: Managing Product Returns, Product Returns Refurbishment, Warehousing and Logistics.
- Develop opportunities for PRC to provide services to New Clients.
The Director will provide the following services (collectively, the "Services"): Business Development services to expand the Consumer and Industrial Product Re-manufacturing, returns management and full logistic business.
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, revenue generation will be the priority. The Director will be accountable to plan, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluate the sales and marketing activities for the company. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of both short- and long-term returns, product refurbishment, warehousing, and total logistics solutions marketing and sales plan.
Knowledge and Skills
Preferred: University degree in business administration and/or marketing or in a discipline related to logistics management
7 years of experience in warehouse and transportation logistics sales and marketing
5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics operations
Minimum: University degree in business administration and/or marketing or in a discipline related to logistics management
3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse and transportation logistics sales and marketing
3 years of experience in warehouse and freight logistics operations
Key Accountabilities
- Execute the sales and marketing plan for the company
- Manage operational activities associated with sales and marketing.
- Provide and maintain good customer service and solve problems.
- Perform administrative activities associated with sales and marketing.
COMPENSATION. Annual compensation will be $85,000 per year. Payments will be subject to all mandatory federal and state withholding taxes.
COMMISSION PAYMENTS. PRC will make commission payments to the Director based on Net Sales of services (% TBD). Net Sales is defined as total revenue less all returns, rebates or chargebacks borne by PRC.
LOCATION. The position will be Hybrid. PRC’s Corporate office is in Hauppauge, New York. Periodic travel to other PRC locations in North Carolina and Nevada may also be required.
