Director of Employee Experience

Vetcor is looking for a Director of Employee Experience to lead the charge in enhancing our workplace culture and delivering powerful learning and development strategies. You will be the driving force behind creating and executing strategies that strengthen employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, learning & development, and drive a sense of purpose and belonging among our team members. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-regarded and growing Company.

This is an enterprise-level role involving collaboration with other HR functions, Operations and Clinical leaders, and team members from across the company. This is a fully remote role with some travel required to work in person with our hospital teams.

Individuals with a strong background in learning and development, OD, talent management, and driving engagement strategies will find this a rewarding and exciting opportunity in a company with an outstanding culture.

Responsibilities

• Learning and Development: Design and deliver powerful learning content and development strategies with a particular focus on developing leadership skills.
• Organization Effectiveness: Work with veterinary teams (in person and remotely) to improve team effectiveness, manage team dynamics, and coach leaders.
• Engagement Strategies: Develop and implement an employee engagement strategy aligned with Vetcor’s values and overall culture.
• Wellness: Collaborate with others to drive meaningful programs and initiatives to increase the well-being of our people.
• Recognition and Rewards: Develop and manage employee recognition programs to acknowledge team member achievements and contributions.
• Onboarding and Orientation: Design and execute a seamless onboarding process to introduce new employees to Vetcor’s culture and to clarify their roles and responsibilities.
• Inclusivity: Outline short-term and long-term strategies to advance our current approach to creating a caring and inclusive environment for all employees.
• Listening Strategy: Determine a long-term strategy for gathering feedback and insights with regards to engagement drivers, culture, and employment-related needs through employee surveys and other feedback channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 6+ years previous experience in HR, organizational development, or related disciplines.
• Ability to effectively work with a wide, diverse range of people on very sensitive topics.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing employee engagement strategies and initiatives.
• Strong background in training and development strategies, design, and delivery.
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve engagement goals.
• Passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time to visit our practices and work with our teams in person.
