Position: Director of Franchise Development 

Status: Exempt

Salary: $95-100K + Commission

Location: Fresno, CA metro (remote or hybrid)

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • #1 priority is to sell/award new franchises to grow the brand
  • Assist existing franchisees (Strategic-Partners) in selling their business when retiring
  • Develop and expand relationships and credibility with franchise broker networks
  • Educate franchise candidates on the PrideStaff opportunity, systems, and processes, as they research and ultimately make their decision to join the franchise
  • Screen franchise candidates to ensure it is a good fit for both them and PrideStaff
  • Run Discovery Day meetings with your candidates who are close to a decision
  • Continuous follow-up with brokers (usually called Consultants or Coaches) regarding the franchise candidates that they referred, via telephone, email, and text
  • Periodically attend Franchise Broker/Consultant/Coaches conferences in person, and sometimes virtually, plus annually attend the International Franchise Convention (IFA)
  • Participate and contribute ideas and suggestions for collaboration on best practices of how to improve and implement new and updated ways to improve the process over time and changes in the marketplace

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong track record in sales, both on the telephone and in person
  • High geographical knowledge of the United States, including regions and major cities
  • Comfortable and experienced calling people to introduce oneself to generate leads
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of candidates (potential buyers)
  • Consistently meets goals and expectations through self-management
  • Excellent people skills, both verbal and written communication
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Embrace current, and, be willing to learn, new technology
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines
  • Trustworthy and able to handle critical, sensitive, and confidential information
  • Utilizes a self-reliant and "above and beyond" approach
  • Works independently in a fast-paced, always changing, and on-demand environment
  • Ability to travel as needed, including periodic weekends


Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of successful experience in the staffing industry and/or franchise sales
  • Sales experience in person and via outbound telephone calls
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
