Director of Human Resources

Payactiv is seeking a Human Resource Leader to join their talented team. As an integral part of the organization, you will manage all aspects of Human Resources. As a key member of the leadership team, you will develop integrated HR programs that are aligned with the company’s business plans and objectives and ensure that Payactiv’s culture and environment are maintained as we grow. This position is based out of our Milpitas California office.

What You Will Do…

• Create an incredible team member experience from onboarding to ongoing development to engagement.
• Build and drive scalable solutions around making our leaders better managers, growing our team’s capabilities, and driving employee retention.
• Use people-related data to drive better decision-making and develop key metrics to measure employee happiness, performance, engagement, and retention.
• Implement company-wide performance management programs that reward excellence and drive continuous, transparent feedback.
• Champion Payactiv’s values by building them into structured programs and exemplifying them day-to-day.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to all team members.
• Employee relations, collaboration, communication
• Implement discipline, work ethic, accountability, and compliance with a mission.
• Nurture and grow the company culture.
• Compliance with Federal and state labor laws
• Oversee all Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition
• Manage the Human Capital Management platform
  
  
  

What You Need…

• SPHR and/or PHRca certificate
• Organized, self-directed People leader with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience building various programs from the ground up.
• Demonstrated track record of original thinking and willingness to learn
• Comfortable in thinking strategically and then executing.
• Progressive and innovative attitude toward people programming and HR guidelines.
• Thoughtful people management and mentorship skills
• Eagerness to work in a startup environment and roll up your sleeves as an individual contributor within an emerging industry.
