Our client is a designer and manufacturer of innovative robotic packaging solutions for the food industry. They have hired us to seek out a Director of IT for their York, PA location.
This position reports to the VP of Finance and is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and oversight to our IT department.
The ideal candidate will have experience:
Leading strategic planning for IT systems and department.
Managing IT budget and participating in leadership reviews.
Implementing business continuity protocols to minimize disruptions.
Establishing efficiency standards and recommending IT infrastructure improvements.
Evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and support growth.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technology challenges.
Overseeing the security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
Identifying, assessing, and managing data privacy and security risks.
Defining IT roadmap in collaboration with business functions and organizing IT projects.
Developing and implementing IT policies including cybersecurity and business continuity.
Driving development of IT staff through project assignments and coaching.
Maintaining relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
Qualifications include:
BS in Computer Science or Information Technology
5+ years of IT Direction experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated success in implementing IT solutions
Experience supporting AI applications and systems
