Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our direct sales channel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in SaaS sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer value. As the Director of Sales, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our sales strategy, expanding our customer base, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Sales Process Optimization: Create and continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
- HubSpot Expertise: Utilize HubSpot for CRM management, sales automation, and analytics. Ensure the sales team is effectively leveraging HubSpot to drive productivity and insights.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
- Strategic Thinker: Excellent strategic planning and execution skills. Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Customer Focused: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to build lasting relationships. Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Experience with CRM and sales analytics tools, particularly HubSpot.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- HubSpot Expertise: Proficiency in using HubSpot for CRM, sales automation, and analytics. Experience in optimizing HubSpot for sales productivity and insights.
- Microsoft / M365 Ecosystem: Experience in the Microsoft / M365 ecosystem is a bonus. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related technologies is highly desirable.
