Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PR Director to lead our public relations strategy in the US market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the media landscape, a strong network of industry contacts, and a proven track record of driving high-impact PR campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker who can craft compelling narratives, manage crisis communications, and elevate our brand presence across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic PR Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the US market.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the audio and entertainment sectors.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials that align with the company’s messaging and objectives.
- Crisis Management: Lead crisis communication efforts, providing timely and effective responses to protect the company’s reputation.
- Event Management: Plan and manage media events, press conferences, and other promotional activities to support product launches and other initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, and executive teams to align PR efforts with overall business goals.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in public relations, preferably within the OTT, media, or entertainment industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to create and implement successful PR strategies.
- Excellent crisis management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong network of media contacts within the US.
