THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of the Strategy and Business Operations team of Digital Media, the Director, Business Operations will work closely with the VP, Head of Strategy and Business Operations, and Chief of Staff, and other Senior Leaders and cross-functional teams in Digital Media and around the company to transform and scale strategic operations and drive project to completion. The Director, Business Operations will identify critical operational issues and opportunities, define vision, “roll up their sleeves” to develop solutions and encourage action and results.

The biggest impact will come from an individual who possesses strong strategic, business and operating intuition, has outstanding project and program management skills and is an inspirational agent of change within the organization. The ideal candidate will dig into details to understand and assess business needs, identify areas of opportunity, identify potential gaps in strategic operations and processes, and implement strategies and tactics to drive strategy and operations to the benefit the company, customer and shareholder. Your prior experience operating in global, cross-functional and collaborative environments will provide you with the foundation necessary to be successful in this dynamic, high-impact position.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead initiatives and work across teams to inform decisions related to business strategy, annual planning, investment strategy, prioritization, and other ongoing business priorities, enabling insights and decision-making velocity.
  • Lead cross-functional global initiatives that drive alignment and develop projects that scale at a global level, drive change, and achieve results.
  • Partner and collaborate with members of the DMe leadership team to set and lead priorities, proactively suggest, define, launch, and drive operational initiatives.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity for the Digital Media business, both from a strategic and operational perspective.
  • Work as the right-hand to Chief of Staff to the President of the Digital Media Business.
  • This is an individual contributor role and will not have any direct reports

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • 8+years of proven experience in strategic or operational roles
  • MBA or JD from top-tier institution or experience top management consulting firm experience preferred
  • Consistent track record of delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional projects and leading multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results.
  • Ability to connect the dots across teams, insights, and initiatives.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to create structure and execution plans where there were none while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience in business strategy, operations, and leading change at scale.
  • Proven strong EQ, positive energy, and organization savviness.
  • Ability to influence C-level decision-making.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,000 -- $301,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
