Job location: Hybrid (Ewing, NJ / Home Office)
The Director, Global Network Operations & Analytics will be responsible for supporting facilities across the Global network including manufacturing, development, and distribution. The candidate will use a comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of Industrial Engineering to complete data analysis and evaluation in support of complex assignments for production, quality and warehouse activities. The candidate will lead and support the network operations global team that owns the ‘make vs buy’ sourcing analysis, capacity utilization review process, and coordination of end-to-end process of significant Global Supply Chain Projects. Will be responsible for developing a roadmap and portfolio of all B.I. and technology projects necessary to support the long-term competitive needs of the entire supply chain department. The candidate will have an influence on 63 total brands, $6.2B in sales, 13 global internal manufacturing sites, and projecting around 45%-65% of our capital budget

Strategic Sourcing
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Lead make vs buy analyses for cost savings opportunities
- Accountable for supply chain design including DC and plant locations
- Study and recommend plant/DC consolidations or expansion
- Lead the assessment of confidential sourcing projects and come back with recommendations to be reviewed by senior leadership
- Lead the operational assessment and integration of new acquisitions
- Complete semi-annual capacity planning for all brands
- Assessments include internal plants, operational warehouses and DC’s, contract manufacturers and material suppliers
- Link business needs and opportunities to develop a roadmap to close gaps, install/improve processes, and sustain results.
- Recommend internal investments and 3rd party needs
- Coordinate and prioritize supply chain analytic initiatives including the exploration and prioritization of top AI/automation initiatives
- Drive the development of various predictive analytics/optimization/heuristics-based models.
- Serves as a key point of contact for all data visibility and insights initiatives within the Supply Chain department and supports initiatives undertaken by cross-functional process improvement teams.
- Maintains continued enhancements and augmentations to existing B.I. tools and supply chain technology solutions.
- Develops and executes a strategy to provision business users with very accessible daily technical support answering analytical & technology related questions.
- Provide linkage between plants, SBUs and supply chain functions
- Lead portfolio optimization initiatives and provide recommendations to reduce manufacturing complexity that ultimately support the business
- Develops, implements, and assesses metrics for the dissemination of trends that affect service quality and customer reviews using statistics and quality engineering tools.
- Lead problem-solving activities and provide engineering support for process development and initiatives to improve the efficiency of operations.
- Support wNew product execution
- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive supply chain resiliency strategy, aligning it with business goals, and proactively managing risks. This includes identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, developing mitigation plans, and making critical decisions on investments and implementation roadmaps under the guidance of senior management. Oversee the implementation of resiliency strategies to reduce service vulnerability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain crisis management plans and coordinates regular tests of business continuity plans, while also engaging with suppliers to understand and improve their risk management strategies
Education and Experience
- B.S. degree in Engineering/Industrial Management or similar
- 10+ years experience in Supply Chain with an emphasis on manufacturing processes
- Experience in FDA monitored environments
- Manufacturing strategy development and execution
- Ability to analyze data and processes as well as use problem-solving methods to identify root causes and find the best solutions.
- Factory automation
- A successful track record of being able to establish supply chain strategy and translate the strategy into activities that will reduce manufacturing costs and drive gross margin improvements.
- A strong leader and communicator
- Outstanding team building skills
- Ability to think strategically
- A morale builder who will earn respect within the company
- Familiarity and experience with plant floor systems
- Experience in developing a lean, world class operation in previous companies
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Accounting and Financial analysis
- Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally 15-20%
