Position Overview

This is for a newly launching major premium experiences and hospitality program. On Location is seeking an experienced leader with a blend of technology and client management experience that will align business ambitions and pain points into technical solutions appropriately suited to the activity and desired objective for this newly launching program. They will lead a small team that engages program, client and vendor stakeholders to drive timely execution against the program’s technology objectives. This role will report to the EVP, Tech Strategy with a dedicated focus on this new program.

The Role And What You’ll Do

  • The main role of the Director of Technology Alignment will be to map and manage business objectives with technical solutions appropriately suited to the activity and desired objective. As the middleman between the business/delivery teams and the technology team, this individual will liaise across internal business line and functional area leads, as well as external partners, to drive meaningful and timely outcomes.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for the program, interfacing with the OL technology team
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for internal and external stakeholders and executive sponsors (Program team, Endeavor IT team, program rights holders, and vendors)
  • Receive feedback from our partners on their business needs and provide clear, consistent feedback to our product management team
  • Communicate effectively with partners on our software products, product delivery timelines, and product vision with the help of internal subject matter experts
  • Define suitable technical solutions that can meet business needs and easily be integrated in the IT business environment
  • In collaboration with the Product Operations, Pricing and Finance teams, collaborate on the use of the selected inventory management and point of sale technology
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to objectives, including helping define project scope, project planning, required reviews and approvals, coordinating internal resources, and setting customer expectations
  • Assist with high severity requests, issue escalations, bug submission, and problem troubleshooting as needed
  • Contribute to regular status updates and executive readouts

You Have These Attributes

  • Solid understanding of the business challenges in the sport and entertainment sectors
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the ticketing and hospitality business
  • Awareness of a wide range of solutions and tools related to those sectors
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the different jobs of which a ticketing & hospitality sales organization is comprised
  • Interpersonal & Management abilities to work successfully/efficiently with diverse profiles (sales vs techs)
  • Extensive experience in account management, project management, customer success, or other relevant experience
  • Strong project management and reporting capability
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while working collaboratively across teams

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
