Job Description

CyberArk is quickly expanding its footprint in the US Federal Business to include Civilian, DOD & the Intelligence Community. We’re looking for an experienced Director of Public Sector Sales to join our team and help accelerate our public sector growth.

Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain a pipeline of US federal sales prospects, by executing on company-wide strategies and best practices to grow existing customer engagements and add new logos
  • Develop and deliver to prospects a clear and consistent message of how CyberArk will support agency missions; and identify, educate, and build consensus within prospects regarding the CyberArk value
  • Navigate complex government agencies to speed sales cycles and close deals quickly
  • Support and lead multiple large opportunities at different points in the sales process at the same time
  • Collaborate across the company, including with marketing, channel, customer success, and product, to ensure sales success
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and government sales best practices to optimize strategies for growth
  • Follow a data-first approach through use of Salesforce and other sales-support tools


Qualifications


  • 10+ years of experience in the US Federal Civilian, DOD, Intelligence sales space. We are targeting growth in both Federal Civilian and Defense/Intel agencies, and we encourage candidates with experience in either area to apply.
  • Track record of success and consistently exceeding quota in US Federal sales
  • Deep understanding of US Federal procurement process, including awareness and experience leveraging multiple contract vehicles
  • Ability to communicate well with all organizational levels across functions, and to build consensus among channel leads and program and contracting leads
  • Knowledge of information security and risk intelligence concepts, with a continued willingness to learn and grow
  • Independent and collaborative team member, with a commitment to work as a team to support company-wide goals
  • Ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed team.
  • Experience with Salesforce and additional relevant tools preferred
  • Security clearance is preferred, but not required.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $220,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
