Sodexo is seeking a District Manager 1 for our Campus Dining Segment. This position will be responsible for student dining services across multiple universities. Ideal candidate resides within driving distance of an airport with regular access to the Inland Northwest Region: Boise, Idaho; Salt Lake City Utah and Eastern Washington.
This Campus Dining District Manager will be driving force in guiding General Managers in campus operations, being liaison for client contacts, building influence and a network throughout the geographic area; while driving excellence in campus dining operations and new initiatives.
The District Manager requires a strategic-thinking leader who can work in partnership with client vision & expectations while delivering on high quality dining service programs that will achieve high customer and guest satisfaction. Ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence with the ability to work within complex, multiple client organizations. Strong relationship skills are a must to effectively work internally as well as externally to the organization.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- Solid experience in Campus Dining Leadership role including resident dining, retail dining, concessions and catered event services is required;
- Strong team development skills, client relationship skills, and proven successful P&L management are musts;
- Previous multi-site/multi-management responsibility and sales exposure is desired;
- Background of successfully coordinating and directing activities over multiple venues or locations through subordinate general managers, supervisors, and employees with primary focus on financial performance, client retention, policy compliance, strong negotiating skills and employee training and development.
- Valid driver’s license is required for this position.
