SUMMARY: Qualified candidates will assist in Diving Operations that include Offshore, Inland, and Rigging projects.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean and maintain dive equipment.
  • Assist and tend the diver and their tools from preparation of the dive through its completion.
  • Maintain current training certifications.
  • Dive Tenders (maintain a fit to dive status)
  • Knowledge of equipment uses, repairs and routine maintenance as needed
  • Set up and operate all equipment and dive station as directed.
  • Assist in topside work as directed or when required.


EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent [G.E.D.] with proof of program completion from Association of Diving Contractors (ADCE) accredited school or equivalent.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • TWIC card
  • Driver’s License

  • API RP 2D 7 th Edition Rigging
  • SafeGulf
  • Dive School Completion Verification/Certification/Transcript
  • 1 st Aid CPR AED and O2 Provider


EXPERIENCE: 0 to 6 months. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Competencies: The basic function is to perform specific tasks in the water and topside having detailed knowledge of diving theory and practice, a full understanding of the diving equipment in use, and of the tasks assigned.

OTHER: Must be able to work in a drug free workplace; never under the influence of mind-altering prescriptions or non-prescription drugs, including alcohol, and other drugs of abuse.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments. Must be able, and willing to travel worldwide on short notice for indefinite periods of time. Flexible work schedule, on-call 24 hours a day / 7 days a week unless on scheduled time off.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Works outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry 50 feet. Must be able to push or pull 100lbs.
