The domestic maritime industry plays a vital role in Florida’s energy resiliency, ensuring a safe and reliable energy supply chain to support our communities. This article, written by our very own David Wood, director of government relations at Crowley and president of the Florida Maritime Partnership, highlights the critical role the maritime industry plays in ensuring the flow of essential supplies and energy, especially during hurricane season. At Crowley, we're proud to be part of this fundamental network, contributing to the state's preparedness. Read more about how the industry supports Florida’s energy needs: https://hubs.la/Q02MlmS_0

Crowley Fuels is one of the largest and most reliable propane suppliers in Alaska. We have the right people and the right equipment in all the right places. Remote delivery of eight new pickle barrels to a customer located northeast of Delta Junction, required us to build and install a delivery manifold, while also setting and filling the tanks on top of a mountain - all while under the watchful eyes of wild Alaska marmots. It's just another example of how Crowley Fuels gets the job done. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and when your fuel needs are critical, we deliver. https://hubs.la/Q02MbPj40 #CrowleyFuelsAlaska #Propane

In a fast-moving, interconnected world, high-speed internet is one of the catalysts Crowley leverages to push the maritime industry forward. As part of our fleet enhancements to increase internet access for mariners, our technology professionals have leveraged their technical and collaboration skills to deliver bigger real-world results in the maritime industry and their careers. By integrating Starlink, our information technology team at Crowley executed a technology system installation to improve connectivity at a scale leading the industry. Our logistics team continues to put the customer at the center of what we do--and have been recognized for it twice recently. We are excited to share that our ocean liner services placed second overall in Logistic Management magazine’s 40th Annual Quest for Quality Awards, where we were rated by supply chain decision makers for on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations. Additionally, we were selected as a 2024 Top 100 3PL Provider by the editors at Inbound Logistics magazine for our ability to navigate complex supply chain challenges with a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction, operational excellence and innovation. Positioned at Point Hope, Alaska, our ATB Aurora/Qamun is double-anchored and poised to deploy its hoses for the 1,050,000-gallon delivery to the community. Engineered specifically for such tasks, the ATB deploys its bow anchor to establish initial positioning, then maneuvers in reverse to deploy the stern anchor. This method effectively secures the vessel in a parallel alignment with the shoreline, safely keeping the hose in the same position throughout the operation. Orchestrating one of the most complicated fuel delivery systems in the nation is how Crowley safely delivers vital high-quality fuel where it’s needed most.
