Division Controller – High growth PE backed company
A private equity backed growth company is looking to add a newly created Division Controller to their team. This role will support a critical division including established businesses and newly acquired entities. The role will consist of driving the close, financial reporting and leading transactional accounting for the division and will support the Presidents of each business from a budgeting, forecasting and business performance standpoint reporting into the Corporate Controller. This person will play a key role in integration and standardization of new acquisitions into overall company structure. Dynamic role with a high growth organization that scaling quickly and eventually will look to transact, potentially through an IPO or other liquidity event.
Essential Functions:
· Driving daily and monthly accounting including month end close processes
· Lead period financial reporting in accordance with GAAP both for both internal and external partners
· Key contact to audit firm and drive internal controls process.
· Develop and enhance key performance indicators and trends for division
· Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting for both business and finance leaders
· Build centralized team of accounting professionals to support division
· Support corporate team on strategic initiatives like M&A due diligence and integration
What someone would bring to the role:
· 7+ years of experience supporting a high growth business
· Accounting Degree
· Private Equity owned experience preferred
· CPA preferred
· Public accounting experience foundation preferred
