Salary Range: $170/day + Bonus + Benefits.

Job Summary

Pacific Channel Transportation is seeking a Full-Time Non-CDL Driver in Spokane, WA. This person will be responsible for scanning, loading and unloading any freight and filling in on routes as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to work DAYSHIFT 2:30am - 10:30am Tuesday-Saturday.
• Touch freight - must be able to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Exceptional customer contact and driving skills.
• Drivers will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leaders and associates.
• Drivers will also be expected to systemically update orders via a handheld device.
• Drive a non-CDL vehicle - 26ft box trucks.
• Communicate delivery updates to customers.
• Load the truck in an efficient manner for unloading and confirming customer orders.
• Climb in and out of the delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day.
• Any additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material, or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Valid, active Class C Driver's License.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Background.
• 3 years of Non-CDL Driving experience.
• Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
• Must pass DOT physical, criminal check, and drug screen.
• As a non-CDL Driver, you must be a team player with excellent customer service skills and the commitment to succeed.
