Base pay range
This individual will work closely with the Vice President, Director Business Development, and the full range of company staff in identifying, tracking, qualifying, nurturing, developing, and capturing account specific opportunities.
Daily activities include identifying (DoD) opportunities aligned with corporate capabilities, establishing contacts with potential teaming partners, qualifying teaming partners, working with recruiting to source key and non-key personnel and aid Capture Managers in qualifying opportunities. Specifically, You will:
- Perform both cold and warm calling to identify and engage personnel in accounts to establish meetings, understand their business challenges, budget and vision.
- You will do research, work with G2IT Business and Technical Staff, G2IT Partners and Vendors developing winning strategies to solve business problems, and close sales opportunities.
- Work to identify, qualify and develop teaming partners through online research, directed data calls and partner communication.
- Work with Recruiters, Human Resource Staff and partner firms to assess opportunity skill requirements and source potential candidates for project and program delivery.
- Work with technical staff to develop appropriate account specific solutions, and graphics personnel to develop pictorial representations of processes, workflows and organizational delivery.
Ideal candidate technical and professional expertise:
- Deep understanding of DoD Agencies (Army, AF, Navy, COCOM's) or Civilian and their components including strategic imperatives, standards and mission priorities
- Current and active relationships with key program and acquisition decisions makers and influencers within the DoD
- Extensive contacts and familiarity with leadership within DoD or civilian Agencies
- Extensive contacts with industry partners like GDIT, SAIC, etc. that have incumbent work and focus in DoD Agencies
- This individual before their current role portably came from the DoD or Civilian Agency they have knowledge of.
- Successful track record of penetrating new customers with solutions to include IT modernization, cyber security, cloud, engineering, Service Management, training, and PMO
- Successful track record of closing single-award deals with at least 5 wins in the previous 5 years, one of which was 50M+.
- Posse deep knowledge of the Federal procurement process, current acquisition trends, and customer buying behaviors
- Deep knowledge of management consulting and IT services
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as work within a team environment.
- Bachelors degree preferred
