Responsibilities
DTMO Assoc Program Manager
The DTMO Associate Program Manager reports to the Director of DTMO and provides support to the DTMO Manager, Program Managers (PgMs) and Project Managers (PMs) to successfully complete large, complex digital transformation programs and projects within scope, schedule, quality and cost requirements. The Associate Program Manager works closely with PMs and PgMs and coordinates with DT Transition Manager, project leads, project sponsors, key stakeholders and procurement departments in maintaining key PPM data, documents or artifacts for each program and project. The Associate Program Manager acts as the delegate for the Program Managers
Develop and lead a cohesive, program-wide controls approach, including the areas of schedule, financial, contracts, risk, PPM tools, operational procedures, and program information/documents
Work collaboratively with leadership, project team members and project sponsors to design appropriate controls to help execute on project and program plans.
Train and mentor new staff or team members on appropriate use of program or project controls / PPM Toolkit.
Responsible for development and maintenance of tools and processes to surface and track resource demand and capacity management per project and across programs. This includes understanding of skill sets, capacity and best fit for the work, along with effort hours aligned to schedules.
Support PMOs in coordinating necessary schedule updates for the integrated program schedule(s) from PMs, Workstream Leads, and vendor partners, including milestone identification, % complete, current status, and any changes in dates or dependencies.
Support PgM/PM in working with financial processes in deliverable approval and tracking per contracts.
Responsible for ensuring program and project status reporting is conducted on a periodic basis, with effective processes and relevant and timely information delivered to the right stakeholder groups.
OCM personnel to determine stakeholder analysis and management plans are in place.

- Controls Leadership

- Program / Project Schedule and Program Dependency Controls/Maintenance:

- Program / Project Support Activities
Support PgM/PM in working with financial processes in deliverable approval and tracking per contracts.
Responsible for ensuring program and project status reporting is conducted on a periodic basis, with effective processes and relevant and timely information delivered to the right stakeholder groups.
- Program / Project Continuous Improvement Processes:
- Manage escalation of Project level lessons learned that are escalated to the Program level and/or DTMO level.
OCM personnel to determine stakeholder analysis and management plans are in place.
- Program / Project Document Management:
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or combination of education and work experience that provides the necessary skills to perform the essential job functions or relevant work experience
- Minimum of 4-6 years formal program and project management experience of large, complex critical technical and strategic projects. Subject matter expert with processes and systems within a project function
- Experience in creating and managing project and program controls, in support of major technology projects or programs.
- Experience in various project management methodologies and tools including Agile/Scrum or other iterative development frameworks
- Competency in program and project management tools
- Master's degree
- Prior experience project managing > $2M+ projects with project teams of 10 or more
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet and/or other PPM, work management platforms and/or scheduling tools.
- Proficient in use and administration of SharePoint sites.
- Financial/Budget experience.
