Instructional Environment
This position is fully remote. Our learning management system is Canvas by Instructure, supplemented with tools like Canvas Arc/Studio, Microsoft Office 365, and licensed Zoom accounts for effective student collaboration. Additionally, instructors have access to Cengage Unlimited, enabling free access to course e-texts and integrated learning support tools such as WebAssign and MindTap.
Key Responsibilities
Course Delivery: Design and deliver interactive lessons that encourage application, analysis, and evaluation of course materials.
Content Preparation: Develop comprehensive course materials including syllabi, assignments, and instructional videos prior to each term.
Student Engagement: Facilitate student interaction and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and course assessments. Adhere to institutional deadlines for grade submission and administrative reporting.
Qualifications
Experience: Preferred prior experience in online teaching.
Education: Master's degree or higher in the relevant subject area, or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the subject area. Relevant industry certifications are valued in technical disciplines.
