Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Program Coordination
Coordinates and leads Professional Development solutions at individual school sites;
Collaborates with building leadership teams and administration to develop and implement Professional Learning Community (PLC) content;
Leads and supports continuous professional development activities within schools and classrooms, including coaching and consulting;
Assists leadership teams and PLC’s in developing strategic plans and evaluating their progress at regular intervals;
Differentiates for professional development needs by developing and leading a variety of options to support professional learning;
Leads and coaches school administration and staff in the implementation of evidence-based findings to promote professional growth;
Leads and coaches building principals and leadership teams to assist staff in planning and sustaining continuous improvement goals and objectives;
Creates presentations for use in professional development training sessions, leadership team meetings and administrative/board meetings. Researches and develops new programming with innovative thinking for greater efficiencies and results (as part of a team or individually);
Provides regular updates to the Manager of Education Services describing activities in the schools;
Collaborates with Education Services team in planning meetings;
Engages in professional development based on individual plan for professional growth and share new learning with Education Services team;
Maintains constant communication with school administration and staff via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.

Additional Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in elementary or secondary education
Current Minnesota teaching license
Minimum seven years of teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in elementary of secondary education
Ten years of experience in education
Background in Science Expertise in standards and curriculum alignment and/or standards-based grading
Expertise and/or experience in group facilitation
Evidence of application of current evidence-based practices
Experience with program development and coordination
Experience with AVID
Position open until filled, 195-day position. TRA eligible.
Background in science and technology integration preferred.
Experience in AVID preferred.
Salary Range:
Grade 11, $61,006.37 - $85,408.91 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience. Salary represented here has been pro-rated to a 195-day salary.

Location:
Applicants should be located near or in the counties we serve (Region 5) and be able to commute to the office and throughout the region at least 2-3 days a week for meetings and support.
On occasion may be expected to attend meetings or trainings at Sourcewell's headquarters in Staples, MN, advance notice would be given to team member.
