This position will be the main source of technical expertise for all levels of the organization of Instrument/Electrical issues. This 100-person chemical plant receives electrical power at 138KV and distributes at 13.8KV. Plant in-line analysis is a key aspect of the position. There is great teamwork at this site with low drama, reliable operations, and an improvement mindset. The site is running full out and trying to keep up with demand. A 9/80 schedule, competitive base salary, and upbeat culture can be expected. Prior DCS experience is key to success in this role.
Education/Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years as an I/E Engineer in a petrochemical environment
Maintenance and testing of safety shutdown systems
Maintenance and testing of high-voltage electrical equipment
Preferred experiences include the use and programming of Distributed Control Systems
and at least 5 years in design in a petrochemical environment.
