ASR International Corporation, has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will provide Design Technical Support (DTS) services to the Planning Design and Construction Directorate (PDC4) of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Pacific area of responsibility. The goal is to provide NAVFAC Pacific PDC4 with increased capability to support Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects.

Minimize project delays by providing technical review and recommendations when requested within predetermined timeframes.
Research codes, guidance, policies, procedures, processes, criteria, and Federal law and regulations and provide sound technical recommendations both verbally and in writing.
Apply innovative technical principles, practices and theories to the resolution of technical issues.
Coordinate with the Government client, NAVFAC team members, leadership, project stakeholders, and various regulatory agencies.
Coordinate and facilitate meetings, make recommendations based on project requirements, coordinate workflow processes, schedule/coordinate plans of actions and milestones (POAMs) and effectively communicate findings to project personnel.
Ensure compliance with customer and RFP requirements. This will include reviewing technical reports, RFIs, designs, design changes, project deliverables, submittals, cost proposals, and other related engineering documents.
Provide technical support for the review of the commissioning plan, design and construction submittals, construction field activities, and field inspections.
Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen and will be required to obtain a DOD SECRET Clearance.
Must hold a valid, current driver's license.
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university (Professional Engineering License is preferred).
Six (6) years of Design Management experience and/or Design experience performing the following tasks:
Design calculations for sizing electrical services, service transformers, and secondary power distribution systems.
Calculations to size overcurrent devices, disconnect switches, and branch circuits and feeders.
Providing Lighting calculations, lighting layouts and specifying light fixtures.
Developing drawings using AutoCAD and editing product specifications.
Well versed in the National Electric Code.
Demonstrated knowledge of broad-based Engineering principles and specific experience in Electrical Engineering.
Sound understanding of technical concepts, principles and practices applicable to multi-disciplined engineering project design.
Experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and in briefing management personnel.
