Electrical Engineer

Salary:

$75,000- $95,000 annually


Overview:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems, conducting detailed analyses, implementing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance. The ideal candidate will apply their electrical engineering expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support junior engineers.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough analyses, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Design of digital Input/Output (IO) in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in meetings and project assignments.
  • Foster a positive work environment and interact effectively with colleagues.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in industrial control systems.
  • Experience in PLC programming.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read equipment wiring schematics and create input/output lists.
  • Proven experience in electrical system design and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC codes and standards.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Capability to handle basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
