LHH is ramping up a search for an Electrical Engineer in the Cleveland , OH area. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical equipment and systems. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, strong technical skills, and the ability to innovate and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, including circuit boards, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure designs meet technical specifications and performance requirements.
  • Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and technicians, to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technical risks associated with electrical designs and implementations.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and validation of electrical systems and components.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during product development, testing, and manufacturing phases.
  • Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in electrical engineering roles, with a focus on design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EAGLE, Altium Designer).
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) and analysis software.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, circuits, systems, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with electrical standards and regulations (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
