Role: Electrical Engineer I

Location: Sylmar, CA - 91342

Duration: 12 Months on W2 (Possible extension)

  • 100% Onsite role.
  • Local candidates preferred. Open to look at the candidates who are willing to relocate at their own expense.

Skills Looking For

  • Entry-level role (0 to 2 yrs exp) ; suitable for fresh grads
  • The project involves working within Abbott's hardware development group, focusing on alternate source components for implantable medical devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators.
  • Expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in the areas of Python, C++, and LabVIEW.
  • Experience with medical device development or similar fields is advantageous.

  • Day-to-day Responsibilities: responsible for evaluating and testing components, writing test plans and reports, and developing test code software. They will also learn about the circuits and components within the devices and collaborate closely with R&D teams.

  • Bachelor's or master's degrees in electrical engineering.
  • Recent graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
