Electrical Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Discipline Lead (DL) to oversee a design team through the entire project cycle, from concept to completion in our client's Cleveland Office . As a Discipline Lead, you’ll manage your team’s project scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring successful outcomes while meeting client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead discipline resources and manage design execution.
• Collect and prepare data, perform detailed calculations, and write technical reports.
• Develop technical specifications and evaluate bids to recommend optimal designs.
• Serve as the primary discipline interface with clients, attending relevant meetings.
• Review calculations, vendor drawings, and project deliverables for compliance.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing using project management tools.
• Identify changes in project scope impacting schedules and budgets.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of electrical systems design experience in consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology.
• PE license in Ohio is a plus (but not required).
• Expertise in single-line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, and NEC application.
• Experience managing teams and working with power distribution, substations, and power system modeling.
• Strong skills in project planning, problem-solving, and communication.
