The Electrical Technicians should have a basic understanding of wiring blueprints and strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Electrical Technicians.
Responsibilities:
Must have basic blueprint reading skills and strong technical/mechanical aptitude.
Must know how to use basic tools such as: Screwdriver, Tape Measure, Power Drill, etc..
Basic understanding of the difference between AC and DC voltages and able to accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices and enclosures.
Candidates must have the ability to work in a controlled pace, medium assembly, and technical environment.
Work may involve frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, and standing on concrete for 10 hours daily. All jobs require the ability to lift 35 pounds and withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with a variety of tooling.
Hours/Pay:
Monday-Thursday (some Fridays) 5:00am-3:30pm (includes overtime opportunities)
Friday Optional / Voluntary for OT 5:00am- 1:30 PM on Friday
The ideal candidate has knowledge or minimal experience with the following:
Wiring control panels
Experience with drawings such as Schematics and Blueprints
Troubleshooting
Experience with electrical components
Qualifications:
Technical Degree or Electrical Technician Certifications preferred
Two years of electrical wiring experience in any of the following areas
One year of vocational program (after high school) OR equivalent on the job training program.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize task
