Work Schedule

This is a part-time, per diem position. This is a day position with (8) eight-hour shifts. Start times are scheduled between: 6:45 AM - 9:00 AM. No weekends or holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department. You will work at the Digestive Health Center in Madison, WI.

We Are Seeking An Endoscopy Technician To

  • Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy.
  • Restock procedure room supplies and monitor supply PAR levels.
  • Troubleshoot all specialty equipment.
  • Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.

Education

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant)

Work Experience

Preferred - One (1) year of experience in a clinical setting (or) one (1) year of experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures, basic cardiac monitoring experience.

Licenses And Certifications

Minimum - BLS/CPR certification
