Energy Industry Analyst

Energy, Energy Information Administration. You will contribute to the development of
accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects
with all levels of staff. At Z FEDERAL you will have an opportunity to apply your academic
knowledge, gain exposure to market relevant projects, interact with experts and clients in the
field, and grow your content knowledge and consulting skills. This is a part-time, fully-remote position expected to begin June 2024.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing U.S. State and Territory energy market reports
- Conduct market research on applicable fuels, electricity and other market measures and adoption of efficiency technologies. etc.
- Manage and analyze large State energy datasets using advanced Excel functions
- Prepare and present persuasive presentations
- Undergraduate degree in Energy Management, Energy Policy and Planning, or related subjects
- Knowledge of energy policy and regulation, especially related to DSM and other distributed energy resources
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to identify, collect and analyze data with Excel
- Strong writing and communication skills, ensuring clear expression of ideas, thoughts, and ideas and effectively providing information to stakeholders
- Demonstrates trustworthiness and upholds the highest ethical standards
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
