Join the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in a short-term capacity as an EHR Program Director, where you will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation of an enterprise electronic health record platform for facilities overseen by the NC DHHS Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold a unified vision, plan, and goal for the EHR Program
• Collaborate with senior executives, IT professionals, and business resources to meet project requirements and manage stakeholder expectations
• Work closely with the DHHS team and vendors to ensure successful system implementation
• Manage day-to-day project activities and supervise project staff
• Create and oversee project management artifacts adhering to PMI's PMBOK guidelines
• Establish and monitor the project budget
• Maintain all necessary State project documentation
• Act as the IT management liaison for the business client
• Perform hands-on analysis of business and technical environments
• Execute implementation activities and ensure adherence to project plans
• Oversee timely and accurate completion of deliverables
• Conduct formal presentations and coordinate with all project stakeholders
