About You
You are a Civil Engineer passionate about the field of transportation and bridge engineering. You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field; understanding of bridge engineering principles and practices; and an EIT/FE certification. Work experience is not required, but ideally you have completed an internship or two in the field of civil engineering. You're proficient in AutoCAD and willing to learn additional structural analysis software.
You are highly organized and a strong communicator. You are excited to support truck route analysis activities including truck escorts that may require work during overnights and weekends (for which you are specially compensated).
About The Position
We are seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Engineers for our Woburn, MA office. Under the guidance of Senior Engineers and Project Managers, this professional will assist in the design and analysis of bridge structures; prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications; and perform site visits and inspections as necessary.
This professional will also serve as a truck escort for oversize vehicles traveling throughout New England including serving as the in-action point of contact for truckers, the State Police, and local officials during these moves.
